A renewal that fails
If a payment for your plan doesn't go through, you keep your plan while our payment processor tries the card again. Settings → Plan & billing shows "Your last payment failed" with two ways out:
- Pay with another card pays now with a new card. The failed subscription stops once the new one starts.
- Cancel plan stops it. You won't be charged again, including for the payment that failed, and your workspace moves to the Free plan at once.
If the payment keeps failing, the subscription ends and your workspace moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted.
When the free trial's first payment fails
If the $60 payment at the end of your trial is declined, Creator doesn't start and your workspace stays on the Free plan. Nothing is deleted. We email you, and Settings → Plan & billing offers the same choices:
- Pay with another card: the declined payment stops and won't be charged, and you pay for Creator with the new card.
- Leave it: our payment processor tries your card again over the next days. If a try goes through, Creator starts.
- Cancel plan: you're never charged and Creator doesn't start.
If every try fails, the subscription ends and you aren't charged.
For the first 30 minutes after the trial ends, Plan & billing says the first payment is being taken. Pay with another card shows after that, so two payments can't overlap.
