Frame rate and codec can't be read in a browser, so they aren't checked here. “Sent from an app” is the limit for videos that apps send to the TikTok app.

Every video downloads as an MP4. With text added in the studio, it's H.264 video with AAC sound.
How it works
When you drop a video, your browser reads its type, size in pixels, length and file size. We work out the average bitrate from the size and the length, then compare each one with the limits above. Nothing is uploaded.
Our 720p videos (720 × 1280) meet every limit on this page. Our 480p ones (480 × 854) are inside the limits for videos sent from an app but smaller than the 540 × 960 minimum for In-Feed ads, so pick 720p for a video you'll run as an ad.
