The short version of how cancelling and refunds work. Sections 4 to 6 of our Terms of Service are the full rules.
Cancel any time, online
- In the studio: Settings → Plan & billing → Cancel plan, then confirm. No email, call or chat needed, and it works even if a payment has failed.
- Cancelling stops every future charge. You keep your plan, and its monthly credits, until the end of the period you paid for: 30 days on monthly billing, the year on yearly billing. Then your workspace moves to the Free plan.
- Nothing is deleted when you cancel. Your videos keep the dates they were given, and the Free plan's limits apply from then on.
Automatic renewal
Paid plans renew automatically every 30 days (monthly) or every 365 days (yearly) until you cancel. You agree to this, with the price and the date of the next payment in front of you, before you pay. We remind you before a yearly plan renews, and once a year on a monthly plan.
The free trial
- When we offer it, the free trial needs a card: $0 today, then Creator at $60 every 30 days starts automatically when the 3 days are up, unless you cancel before then. We email you the date when the trial starts and remind you about a day before.
- Cancel during the trial in Settings → Plan & billing → Cancel trial, one click, and you're never charged and Creator doesn't start. You keep the trial's credits until the trial would have ended.
- Once Creator has started, its payments follow the rules on this page like any plan's.
Refunds
- Failed runs: if a run fails, is refused by a content check or stops before it starts, its credits come back automatically. You don't need to ask.
- A run that does what you asked isn't refunded because you don't like the result.
- Payments: we don't refund the rest of a month or year after you cancel, or credits you didn't use. Our payment processor, the merchant of record, refunds a payment when its buyer terms or the law require it: for example a purchase that wasn't delivered, is materially different from what was described, or that you didn't authorise, reported within 14 days.
- To ask for a refund, write to support@turbougc.com from your account's email address, with the date and amount. We pass every request to our payment processor, which decides refunds of money.
- If a payment is refunded, the unspent credits it bought are removed in proportion.
Credits
- Plan credits arrive once a month and end with that month. They don't roll over.
- Top-up credits last 12 months from the payment.
- The free trial's credits last 3 days, once per person and per card.
- Credits have no cash value and can't be exchanged for money or moved to another workspace.
Before you dispute a charge
Please write to us first; most problems are quick to fix. A chargeback removes the credits the payment bought and stops the months still to come on a yearly plan.

Versions
- October 3, 2026: Privacy Policy only: a new section 13 says who at TurboUGC can see your account and content, when (support you ask for, running and protecting the service, abuse, fraud and safety reviews, legal requests), that opening your content needs a stated reason, and that every look is logged; the sections after it are now 14 and 15. Nothing else changed, and nobody is asked to agree again. Updated the same day, Privacy Policy only: sections 1 and 2 say that when you sign up the app asks what describes you best and how you heard about us, that answering is optional, that we use the answers to improve the product and our marketing, and that we never sell them; nobody is asked to agree again. Updated again the same day, Privacy Policy only: both sign-up questions are now answered when you sign up, and each has an answer that tells us nothing more (Just exploring; Other, or Don't remember); why we ask and that we never sell the answers are unchanged; nobody is asked to agree again.
- October 2, 2026: Terms, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and AI Content Policy rewritten in full. They now describe only the features and providers in use today. New: platform rules and your accounts, Research data rules, copyright complaints, the Refunds and cancellation page and the Delete your data page. Yearly plans and today's prices. Updated the same day: a free trial for new accounts, with free credits for two short videos for 3 days, once per person, no card and no charge when it ends (Terms section 5, Refunds and cancellation); the Privacy Policy and Delete your data say we keep a one-way fingerprint of your email address so the trial is given once per person. Also updated the same day: the Privacy Policy's AI table lists short product titles, for which each product's name and category go to the AI provider that writes a 5 or 6 word title for it. Updated again the same day: the free trial needs a card; it costs $0, then becomes the Creator plan at $60 every 30 days unless you cancel before the 3 days are up, with an email when it starts, a reminder a day before the first payment, and Cancel trial online (Terms sections 4 to 6, Refunds and cancellation); the Privacy Policy and Delete your data say what we keep about the card (a keyed one-way fingerprint of its brand, last four digits and expiry, never the card itself) and that our payment processor handles it. Updated again the same day: you accept the Terms and this Privacy Policy, and confirm you're 18 or older, by continuing past the notice under the sign-up buttons, with no separate step after signing in; after a change to the Terms the app asks you to tick a box before your next payment or AI generation (Terms section 21); the Privacy Policy says we record how you agreed (the sign-up notice or a ticked box). Also updated the same day: an account with one workspace, which is every account today, deletes everything with Delete account; Settings → Workspace → Delete workspace is for an account with more than one (Privacy Policy, Delete your data).
