Planning a week of product videos

Posting steadily is easier when you make the videos in one sitting and spread them out. This guide shows how to plan a week: what TikTok Shop allows, how to batch the work in TurboUGC, and how to schedule what you made in the TikTok app.

Key takeaways

  • US creators can post up to 30 shoppable short videos a day, and affiliates in the pilot program up to 3; repetitive near-identical posts count against you.
  • Plan three to five products with two or three different videos each, including one where you appear.
  • Batch the making in TurboUGC, then download and schedule in the TikTok app, up to 30 days ahead and 50 videos at a time.

Know the limits first

TikTok Shop's Creator Eligibility Policy (updated 25 September 2026) sets posting limits for US creators. Since 11 May 2026, creators and merchants can post up to 30 shoppable short videos and 60 shoppable photo posts a day. Affiliates with fewer than 5,000 followers start in a pilot program for at least 30 days with a lower cap: up to 3 shoppable product videos a day and 3 shoppable LIVEs a week.

Volume has a second limit: originality. TikTok's Community Guidelines list "using automation to run many accounts or send repetitive content" as spam, and make unoriginal or reused material without anything new ineligible for the For You feed. TikTok Shop's content policy counts videos where the creator doesn't speak, appear or meaningfully present the product as low-quality. A week of nearly identical videos works against you.

Plan around products, not posts

Pick three to five products for the week. Working with fewer products, each with a few different videos, lets you learn what works for each one and keeps your showcase focused.

For each product, plan two or three videos that differ:

  • Different formats. Hold & Show and Box Open cost the same and open differently.
  • Different first lines. A text hook that names the product, and another that names its standout detail.
  • A video of you. TikTok Shop's quality requirements ask for your face and the physical product. Film one short video per product yourself, even a quick one, and mix it in.

TikTok's ad guidance makes the same point about testing: creatives with big differences tell you more than small variations of one idea.

Batch the making

Making everything in one sitting saves time, and TurboUGC is built for it.

  • One run, many products. A formula run takes 1 to 10 products and 1 to 3 takes per product, up to 20 videos a run, with the total price shown before you press Run.
  • Several at once. Creator runs 2 generations at a time, Pro 4 and Business 8. Start more and they wait their turn.
  • One text design for all. In Text overlay, Insert {product} puts each product's short title into the same design, and you can save the look as a preset.
  • A daily limit, if you want one. In Settings → Plan & billing → Credits, an owner or admin can set a daily credit limit (500, 1,000, 2,000, 3,000 or a number of your own) so one busy day can't use up the month.

An example week

One way to plan it, as an example:

  • Monday. Shortlist four products in Research. Check each in TikTok Shop's Product Marketplace: eligibility, Product Score, commission, samples.
  • Tuesday. Run Hold & Show and Box Open at 480p for all four: 8 videos, 1,240 credits. Film a short clip of yourself with any product you have in hand.
  • Wednesday. Check every take against its listing. Add text. Pick the best two per product. Download them.
  • Thursday to Sunday. Post one or two a day, with the product link and the commercial content disclosure.
  • Next Monday. Look at what sold. Make the winners again at 720p (338 credits each) and drop the products that didn't move.

On the Creator plan, 5,000 credits a month covers about 32 Hold & Show videos at 480p, so Tuesday's batch uses about a quarter of the month.

Schedule in the TikTok app

TurboUGC doesn't post or schedule for you. You download the videos and post them from your own account. TikTok's own scheduler handles the spreading out. TikTok Shop's guide "How to Schedule Shoppable Videos" (updated 13 May 2026) says:

  • you can schedule a shoppable video from 30 minutes to 30 days ahead, under More options → Advanced settings → Schedule post;
  • you can hold up to 50 scheduled videos per account;
  • you can't edit a scheduled video; you delete it and re-edit it from Drafts;
  • scheduled videos stay private until they go live.

Its own tips: batch-film 5 to 10 videos in a session, keep a mix of evergreen and trending content, post trend-based videos by hand because trends expire fast, and double-check product links before you schedule.
